Woamy manifactures eco-friendly sustainable packaging to replace plastic foams. Their biofoam is unique for its technology that mimics wood’s durability but keeps it light at the same time. Passionate about making a sustainable change, Woamy wants to help revolutionise packaging around the world.

Woamy took part in Luova Lämpiö to find creative ways of showcasing their biofoam.  

Collaboration between Woamy and Luova Lämpiö started with co-initiation face during which a challenge was co-created. The challenge was presented in the Challenge Lab where Woamy’s CEO Susanna Partanen took part to answer questions. In the Challenge Lab, creative professionals suggested ideas for the challenge out of which one was chosen.   

The creative professional taking part in research case was Designer Júlia Vila Comas.

Her project is a curated collection of photographs and a zine centred on Woamy’s innovative foam. The focus is on showcasing the foam as the primary element, highlighting its versatility through various forms, textures, colors, and material properties. The goal is to emphasize the foam's aesthetic, practical, and sustainable qualities.
